Things to do At River Valley Lodges!

There are a lot of fun things to do at River Valley Lodges!

The ATV trails / Snowmobile trails runs right through the property offering miles of scenic trails. Bring your own ATV or Snowmobile or we can arrange for a rental.

The fishing is excellent. The river has walleye, pike, perch, bass and muskie. The Sturgeon River offers 20 miles of boating. We have a boat ramp for you to bring your own boat. We also offer fishing boat rentals.

If you want something a bit quieter, you can go hiking (Spring, Summer and Fall) or cross country skiing (Winter) on the trails that surround the property.

You can do some mountain biking (Spring, Summer, Fall) on the many trails that are available for your use (ATV / Snowmobile Trails).

Blueberries are also popular in this area. Take your container on the trail so that you enjoy wild blueberry pancakes, muffins or pie.

The Sturgeon River provides miles of boating for you to explore and a sand beach for your enjoyment. We have non-motorized boats on the property for you to use.

If you are interested in hunting, please contact us and we can set things up for you. A hunt camp is across the street on 180 acres and adjacent to crown land for you to use.

After your day, you can relax in the hot tub or sip your favourite cocktail at the bonfire.

Bring your telescope and watch the stars and if you are lucky you might be able to experience the Northern Lights! Hearing the sound of the Loon or the call of the local owls is common on the Sturgeon River.
